Jom Jelas — character soaking in a teacup

Negara Sedang Dibina, Kitalah Arkiteknya.

The Malaysia of 2032 will not appear overnight.

It is being built today.

Through every policy. Every election. Every decision. Every voice.

Why Support Us

Making informed electoral decisions feels suffocating, especially when you're a first-time voter. Your one finger holds the direction of the country you want to see in the future. Everyone tells you to make a decision, but what is the 'right' decision?

Every nation is built from thousands of decisions.

Which schools deserve funding?

Which cities receive rail services?

Who gets affordable housing?

What jobs exist ten years from now?

Whose voices are prioritized?

None of these decisions are accidents —

they are choices.

And every generation that grows up after inherits the consequences from them.

Jom Jelas is a youth-driven media and civic initiative helping young Malaysians reconnect with public life.

We make complex issues understandable. We turn policy into conversation. We transform frustration into participation.

Most importantly…

We believe the future should be written WITH young people, not simply for them.

Our Story

JOM JELAS is a youth-driven media initiative focused on making complex social, political, and economic issues understandable, relatable, and emotionally resonant. Our Vision

To foster a generation of politically and media literate youth

What We Do

Three ways we turn frustration into participation.

Understand

We create stories, explainers and interviews that make politics easier to understand.

Imagine

We research the Malaysia we want to build.

Build

We organise conversations, campaigns and collective action.
